Summary of Job Duties:
The Database Developer/Architect formulates and defines system scope and objectives and will be responsible for creating and supporting multiple complex highly critical databases with high availability demands. Perform capacity planning workload modeling and prediction to ensure business applications have sufficient resources for nearterm performance and longterm growth.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years in relational database experience in Microsoft Access MySQL Microsoft SQL C C C# Visual Basic FileMaker Oracle Sybase or Informix OR a High School diploma/GED equivalent and nine (9) years of experience listed above.
- Proven programming experience in one or more programming languages.
- Strong SQL skills Database ETL and Data Analytics experience.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and to work closely and effectively with coworkers and endusers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Microsoft SQL Server Database Certifications IBM Information Management Certification or SA or EPIC certifications are preferred.
