Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in data analysis business intelligence (BI) and ETL processes. The ideal candidate has handson experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP and can transform complex data into actionable insights to support strategic decisionmaking.
Candidates need to be located within Canada and might speak English.

Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using modern tools and frameworks.
Extract clean transform and analyze large datasets from various sources.
Build interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI Tableau Looker etc.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance and scalability.
Work within cloud environments (Azure AWS or GCP) for data storage processing and visualization.
Ensure data quality integrity security and compliance.
Contribute to data governance and the continuous improvement of analytical processes.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and either Python or R.
Handson experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure (Data Factory Synapse etc.) AWS (Redshift Glue S3) or GCP (BigQuery Dataflow).
Deep knowledge of ETL tools (e.g. Talend Informatica dbt etc.).
Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI Tableau Qlik Looker etc.).
Ability to interpret complex data and present insights through effective storytelling and visualization.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Experience with data modeling (relational and dimensional).
Nice to Have:
Experience working in Agile environments.
Knowledge of data governance security and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate Google Professional Data Engineer etc.).
