Are you a dedicated Mental Health Nurse ready to step into a leadership role Join our dynamic team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) in the Mental Health Inpatient Services where youll play a key role in delivering highquality recoveryfocused care across a variety of mental health settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Nurse Unit Manager in leading and guiding nursing staff in a mental health setting.
- Promote continuity and consistency of care collaborating with other ANUMs.
- Contribute to the delivery of evidencebased recoveryoriented services tailored to the communitys needs.
- Assist with ward/unit management including performance management recruitment staffing and leave management.
- Take part in financial planning supplies monitoring and rostering to ensure smooth operations.
What Were Looking For:
- Registered Nurse with current registration or eligibility for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
- At least 3 years of postregistration experience or currently a Clinical Nurse.
- Demonstrated leadership in mental health practice with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication problemsolving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to engage with Aboriginal consumers in a culturally sensitive manner with a commitment to further training.
- Experience in managing teams and driving quality improvement in healthcare settings.
