The incoming Director will be responsible for the planning and evolution development and execution across channels and customers of all nearterm and forwardlooking market development strategies and unbranded communication programs and activities to drive forward commercial objectives in the US. As we look to the future this role will play a critical role in the longterm growth of the business.
This colleague will sit on the marketing leadership team and will report directly into the VP of US Marketing. Critical to this role is a strong sense of collaboration both internally and externally driving alignment across the brand team as well as cross functional partners while managing multiple demands and creatively managing resources.
Responsibilities
Partner with marketing leadership and customer leads to define and implement the overall strategy creation and implementation of market development strategies to deliver against overarching brand objectives and future expansion
Lead the execution and future evolution of market development campaigns and unbranded education
Partner with Global Marketing to ensure consistency and alignment in how organization is communicating globally
Engage with customerfacing colleagues and brand leads to support needs of various customers and executional needs
Lead engagement with external disease state education and brand agencies for all programs.
Partner with Corporate Communications to ensure corporate identity and messaging is consistent and integrated across programs.
Partner cross functionally on various corporate leadership programs both those in market currently and any future opportunities
Support internal communications campaign regarding disease and market education in collaboration with Corporate Communications
Build and foster deep internal relationships while also building expertise in the HCM market to recognize future opportunities.
Development of annual plan and budgets associated with Unbranded and Market Dec to include all marketing collateral design and development sponsorships etc.
Comanage unbranded patient ambassadorship program in partnership with Advocacy organization.
Manage all HCP and Patient unbranded media including unbranded CRM
Partner with advocacy organizations and Professional Societies in developing supporting content for patients
Develop all unbranded field material and partner with training for roll out
Qualifications
8 years of in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with at least 5 years in brand management/marketing experience.
Strong understanding of market development and lifecycle evolution preferred
Bachelors degree in a related field. MBA preferred
Experienced project management with a demonstrated history of leading high stakes projects with successful results. Experienced manager of vendor relationships with strong competency in working the relationship to get the most out of the vendor relationship.
Dynamic selfstarter with strong influential skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment with a sense of urgency and ability to perform under tight time pressures.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and to effectively communicate / negotiate those priorities with others in the organization. Priorities include both business needs and value assessment versus budget.
Demonstrates ability to work independently and in collaborative team environment.

Pay Range:
In the U.S. the hiring pay range for fully qualified candidates is $238000 $290000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidates geographic region jobrelated knowledge skills and experience among other factors.Our employees come from different backgrounds and we celebrate those differences.
