The role

As a Welfare Benefits Officer you will be a part of the Income Team. Youll be there to provide a dedicated welfare benefit and debt advice support service to Regenda customers and help sustain tenancies. Contributing to the delivery of an effective and efficient income customer satisfaction levels maximisation of Regenda tenants income sustainable tenancies and the financial stability of The Regenda Group.

The right fit

  • Experience of delivering welfare benefit debt and grants advice and support within a social housing context is essential.
  • You must have an understanding of the rent arrears management process.
  • Youll be able to effectively balance the need of the customer and the organisation.
  • Ability to prioritise your workload to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Youll have excellent communication and customer service skills both written and verbal.
  • You can identify build and maintain key external and internal relationships.

Regenda Homes is an awardwinning Registered Social Housing provider with around 12000 homes in Merseyside Greater Manchester Cheshire and Lancashire. We provide additional support to residents including finding work money advice or dealing with antisocial behaviour. We work in partnership with residents to scrutinise services and make sure we perform to a high standard.
