The Senior Project Manager we are looking for can lead the way for new business development for repeat clientele and will help foster Assistant PMs into their careers.
Our client is asmall nimble and innovatively fastgrowing Nashville Commercial General Contractor operating throughout the Southeast United States.
They are interviewing for a Senior Project Manager with experience in commercial construction via a General Contractor.
We are looking for that person that is ontop of their construction projects and all relationships (Clients Subs VendorSuppliers Etc) to ensure the best outcome for client & company.
The SPM will need to have experience running up to $5M size projects specializing in renovation & new ground up retail office space commercial restaurants shopping centers and big box facilities.
The SPM is responsible for overseeing all project related estimates & budgets all construction site operations safety procedures leading the project with the superintendent regarding: scheduling business development customer relationships and quality control for each project.
This role will require a strong ability to lead teach others andset the bar for project management team and field operations team.
Necessary Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field.
- 8 years of Commercial Project Management experience required running multiple projects (45) simultaneously over the size of $1Million
- Strong ability to understand plans estimate projects and extensive project management experience with a General Contractor
- Strong knowledge in sitework and building construction
- Must have experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor
Skills and Responsibilities
BuildOut & GroundUp Commercial project experiencerequired Commercial Construction Experience (Projects $500K$5MM) Estimating Expertise to Bid Future projects Strong Planning & Communication skills Negotiating Contracts experience Ability to work well with a small team Impeccable organizational skills Relationship building experience with owners around the area
Compensation
- Competitive Salary & Bonus Package up to $160k (Salary DOE)
