Job Description
Requirements
- Proven ability to own and execute low to moderate complexity technical projects
- Review jobs processed by other team members for accuracy across various order classes
- Provide efficient processing of orders quotations and inquiries including clarification communication order writeup and expediting per established policies
- Communicate drawing and shipping schedules with customers/builders
- Confirm pricing accurately reflects the defined scope of work on purchase orders
- Promptly respond to inquiries from customers builders and sales managers
- Analyze and discuss cost/scheduling impacts of potential change orders with customers and builders
- Price and process change orders promptly to meet customer expectations while maintaining margins
- Effectively communicate with other departments to exceed customer expectations
- Continuously improve understanding of Cornerstone Building Brands products procedures and ability to read architectural plans and specifications
Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
- 2 5 years of industry experience in sales estimating engineering drafting or project management.
Skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Sound understanding of general construction fundamentals and engineering principles
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with people at all levels internally and externally
