Description/Job Summary
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Schedule: Work 3 days off one day then work 3 days and off 7 days 4:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
Job Summary: Supervises the operation and maintenance of equipment and employees related to the packaging of rice. Conducts frequent inspections to ensure that equipment is functioning properly product is within specifications and housekeeping is adequately maintained. Monitors and confirms accurate documentation of production maintenance and sanitation procedures according to food safety and quality assurance guidelines. Leadership and coordination of personnel to achieve desired goals related to production quality and food safety objectives and personnel safety.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must possess a working knowledge of process flow and measured output.
- Must possess basic math skills.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Must possess basic mechanical skills.
- Must possess written and oral communication skills.
- Must possess good troubleshooting skills.
- Must be able to read write speak and understand the English language fluently.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 pounds when needed.
- Must be willing and able to climb up to 40 feet.
- Must be willing and able to bend stoop twist turn push and pull throughout the day.
Preferences
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills.
