Job Description
The SVP of Accounting and Global Controller is a key member of the CFOs management team. This person will serve as a subject matter expert for the company on IFRS statutory reporting tax transfer pricing and other accounting matters. The successful candidate will oversee the processes tools and technology that provide leadership with valuable insights to support continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage statutory and IFRS reporting requirements across Miratechs global entities and oversee external audit tax and transfer pricing compliance.
- Lead the implementation and enhancement of ERP and accounting tools ensuring scalable accounting processes as the company grows.
- Ensure efficient payment processing in line with agreements maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.
- Prepare timely financial reports (monthly quarterly and annual) and partner with FP&A on budgets forecasts and longrange planning.
- Develop and transform Accounting capabilities aligning with strategic goals while enhancing policies processes and internal controls.
- Oversee external accounting tax and related services ensuring service levels and costs meet company expectations.
- Take ownership of additional responsibilities as needed to support the companys financial and strategic objectives.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience leading a multinational company in a senior accounting or global controller role.
- Indepth knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and reporting best practices.
- A strong foundation in process improvement and automation.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills in a multicultural environment.
- Advanced degree in accounting finance or relevant field with a CPA ACCA or other relevant qualification.
- Fluent in English (reading writing and speaking).
- Experience in professional services and/or IT services business is an asset.
- ERP implementation experience is a plus.
