Job Description
BESIX Watpac is seeking a Foreman to join our team to deliver a commercial project in Maroochydore. Reporting to the Site Manager this role will be responsible for:
- Organising on a daily and weekly basis the sequencing of onsite activities including the coordination of materials equipment and personnel.
- In consultation with the Site Manager allocating necessary site staff and resources and ensuring that all the resources for the project are available when required.
- Reviewing the construction programme with the Site Manager resequencing activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
- Ensuring that the Companys policies and practices on safety industrial relations and quality assurance are implemented at the work face.
- Ensuring compliance with standards and contract documents.
Qualifications :
The incumbent in this role will require:
- Qualifications in building/construction or a trade qualification in a construction related field.
- Demonstrated success supervising the delivery of large commercial or industrial building projects within time cost and quality requirements.
- Ability to communicate influence and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
