Job Description
Our academic school in Hammersmith with a strong tradition of scholarly achievement is seeking a Dedicated Economics Teacher to join their expanding Social Sciences department. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher to inspire academically focused students at Key Stage 4 and potentially KS5 with a deep understanding of economic principles and global issues. Location: HammersmithRole: Economics Teacher (FullTime Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons across Key Stage 4 (and potentially KS5).
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of microeconomic and macroeconomic principles.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Social Sciences to share best practice and enhance the Economics curriculum.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Economics.
- Potentially contribute to extracurricular Economics clubs or discussions fostering a deeper interest in the subject.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Economics.
- Degree in Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Economics at Key Stage 4 (experience at KS5 advantageous).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject of Economics.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to make Economics accessible and engaging for highachieving students.
- A commitment to fostering critical thinking and an understanding of economic issues.
