Art Teacher Experienced Teacher Opportunity
Location: Worcestershire (Grammar School)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Competitive based on experience
Contract: Fulltime Permanent

The Art Teacher department plays a pivotal role in shaping our students artistic and intellectual growth. We are seeking an experienced Art Teacher to join our talented team and help inspire the next generation of artists.

The Role

As an experienced Art Teacher you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our students artistic journey. Your key responsibilities will include:
Delivering exceptional Art Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 ensuring a strong foundation in both traditional and modern art techniques.
Developing and implementing a stimulating art curriculum that encourages creativity critical thinking and technical skill.
Inspiring students with a passion for art helping them express themselves through drawing painting sculpture and digital media.
Offering tailored support and constructive feedback to help students refine their artistic abilities.
Collaborating closely with fellow Art Teachers to share ideas resources and best practices.
Encouraging students to engage in extracurricular activities such as art exhibitions workshops and school projects to showcase their creative work.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Art Teacher who:
Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Art or a related field.
Has proven experience as an Art Teacher with a track record of success in teaching both Key Stages 3 and 4.
Possesses strong knowledge of a wide range of artistic techniques and media including both traditional and contemporary methods.
Is passionate about inspiring students and helping them achieve their full artistic potential.
Demonstrates creativity in lesson planning and the ability to make art both enjoyable and challenging for all students.
Has excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues students and parents.
Is willing to support extracurricular art activities contributing to the wider creative community within the school.
