Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Religious Education Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Religious Studies examinations ensuring a comprehensive understanding of different faiths and philosophical viewpoints.
- Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages respectful dialogue and critical analysis of religious and ethical issues.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Religious Education providing insightful feedback to support their understanding and personal reflection.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Religious Education or Theology.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Religious Education Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong academic background in religious studies and a passion for exploring different belief systems and ethical frameworks.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills capable of leading sensitive and engaging discussions with students.
