Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Fullstack software engineer and to join our team. As a Senior Backend Engineer who can build solid errorfree code and ensure our financial data is always accurate. Your main job is to work on our NodeJS backend build automated tests and make sure our system runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Fix and Improve Our System: Work on our NodeJS code to fix accounting issues and ensure data integrity.
- Build Solid Tests: Create and maintain unit tests (using tools like Mocha or Jest) and automated web tests (using Selenium Cypress or similar).
- Work with Our Cloud and Database: Optimize our system on AWS using S3 and EC2 and ensure our MS SQL Server database runs efficiently.
- Help the Team Work Better: Collaborate with our frontend team (React) to create smooth integrated features.
Requirements
- Strong NodeJS AND React Experience: At least 5 years of production experience with these technologies.
- Testing Pro Skills: Proven record in writing unit tests and automated web tests.
- Backend and Database Knowledge: Handson experience with MS SQL Server and AWS services (S3 EC2.
- Show Us Your Work: Provide links to your GitHub or code samples. Tell us about projects where you set up testing frameworks or solved tough technical problems.
