Job Description
Hiring Immediately Accounts Payable Specialist.
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our client The Bob Johnson Auto Group one of the largest auto dealer groups in the region. Our client is growing and needs accounting administrative support to handle the increased sales. You will be joining a dealership with an energetic team a motivated executive team with resources to help you succeed and a fantastic community reputation.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous accounts payable experience of a minimum of 2 years and an Associates degree in accounting or equivalent accounting knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail and strong work habits for this high volume position. This role involves multitasking as well as excellent communication and organizational skills to maintain efficient dealership processes. We are looking for someone who works hard communicates clearly and are career oriented.

- Data entry and processing of vendor invoices for multiple auto dealer franchises.
- Process check runs and collate supporting documentation for management signature.
- Reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Communicate with departmental managers and vendors when needed.
- Review and reconciliation of internal accounting schedules as they relate to the accounts payable function.
- Completion of 1099 reporting requirements at year end.
- Other administrative duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a valid driver s license with an acceptable driving record according to dealership standards College graduate with a background or concentration in business management or marketing a plus At least one year in a dealership sales management position. Professional personal appearance Ability to remain calm while diffusing touchy situations At least two years experience in a dealership sales environment. Must be comfortable managing multiple departments and people. Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors Must be able to work extended hours, evenings and weekends
