We re seeking an experienced controller to oversee this highperforming team. The ideal candidate will have experience as an accountant in our industry with experience in a turnaround organization and preferably in a senior role. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst this person will streamline our budgeting and financial reporting processes as well as focus on cost accounting for manufacturing. The controller will also produce thorough financial status reports for senior managers to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth.
Duties/Responsibilities.
Analyze production data including volume cost and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape
Develop implement and maintain financial controls and guidelines
Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling analysis and corrective actions
Help develop and support short and longterm operational strategies
Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts costs and team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures
Establish (in coordination with CFO) financial and operating benchmarks budgets program monitoring and reporting standards on biweekly monthly and annual basis
Implement consistent accounting policies practices and procedures across all programs adhering to national and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation
Manage the monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements to provide insights into the organizations financial performance.
Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets monitor budgetary performance and provide guidance on financial targets and cost management.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and tax filings.
Oversee treasury management including cash flow forecasting working capital management and banking relationships.
Any other duty as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity. Oversees training programs and identifies training needs for a staff of 24 employees.
Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
Experience in managing payroll with focus on streamlining accounting processes
Exemplary history of financial project management
Excellent management and supervisory skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in business accounting or related field
Five or more years of experience as a seniorlevel accounting or finance manager
Professional certification such as CPA (certified public accountant) or CA (chartered accountant) preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Able to travel as needed.
