Responsibilities:
The Assistant Athletic Director for Digital Production and Fan Experience will be responsible for executing and coordinating a comprehensive strategy for digital content video production and invenue fan engagement initiatives. This position will serve as the primary liaison among marketing ESPN production individual sport programs and athletics administration ensuring alignment with the departments overall brand identity and strategic messaging.
This role also oversees all aspects of video board and replay systems including programming content development design and technical maintenance. Additionally the Assistant AD will lead and implement creative and engaging fan experience initiatives for all home athletic events across sports enhancing ingame atmosphere and increasing fan engagement.
Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in Business Administration Communications Digital Media Sport Management Marketing or a related field and four years of directly relevant experience in video production invenue entertainment or a related field (preferably in a collegiate or professional sports setting) are required. Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook) and Video Boards Software (preferably Daktronics Video Boards).
Candidates must have a valid drivers license and be insurable by the universitys carrier.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent organizational communication and project management skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to multitask effectively prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
Must have outstanding work ethic and strict attention to detail.
Ability to manage the departmental operational budget.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends and available for possible travel with sport teams for selected away contests.
Demonstrated experience with digital content creation video board operations and fan engagement initiatives.
Strong understanding of production equipment and software tools.
