Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging lesson plans in core sciences such as Chemistry Biology and related disciplines fostering inquiry experimentation and critical analysis.
Develop curriculum that challenges students to explore complex scientific concepts through handson labs realworld applications and advanced academic projects.
Assess and evaluate student performance through a variety of methods including lab reports research projects quizzes and assessments providing timely and constructive feedback.
Create an inclusive safe and dynamic laboratory and classroom environment that encourages curiosity collaboration and scientific thinking.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student success and address individual learning needs particularly within the demands of advanced coursework.
Guide students in mastering scientific research methods and analytical skills essential for higher education and STEM careers.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Education with a major in Science Chemistry Biology or a related field.
Proven experience as a high school science teacher or similar role.
Strong communication laboratory safety and classroom management skills.
Experience with advanced placement (AP) coursework is highly preferred.
