About this opportunity
Pact Recycling have opportunities for Extrusion Operators to join the Production team at our Wacol recycling plant. There are roles available on the day shift afternoon shift and night shift Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime on weekends too.
The role is focused on operating and maintaining extrusion equipment to produce highquality recycled plastic resin products ensuring smooth production processes and meeting quality standards.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Set up and operate extrusion machines according to product specifications.
- Prepare raw materials and maintain equipment such as dies cutting blades and filters.
- Monitor machine conditions and production processes performing regular quality checks.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role youll have:
- Experience operating and maintaining extrusion machinery.
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Physically fit for manual duties including moderate to heavy lifting.
Qualifications :
Your qualifications
- Certificate III in Polymer Processing is an advantage.
- Forklift licence is an advantage.
- Work Right Entitlement in Australia
