Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Testing Coordinator. Boca Raton FL
The Testing Coordinator will report directly to the Assistant Director of Testing and Certification.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Supervisesas well as administers State and National testing other computerbased and internetbased testing proctored correspondence and make up testing.
Supervises all aspects of computer testing in five computer labs with 90 workstations as well as the Prometric Testing Center Lab.
Meets regularly with the Associate and Assistant Director to discuss weekly operations.
Upholds confidentiality policies as determined by the federal government state university and testing entities.
Requires essential vendor certifications to administer computer based exams given at the testing center.
Operates computers and specialized software and other equipment.
Provides training as necessary.
Maintains interdepartmental communications as necessary and appropriate to ensure the achievement of the Departments mission.
Attends periodic training programs as a participant and/or trainer including but not limited to briefing the departmental staff regarding operations policies and procedures for Testing and Certification.
Assists in training all personnel regarding checking identifications monitoring computer logins for students and setting up workstations to ensure a controlled testing environment.
Supervises the closedown phase of the computers after testing is completed.
Supervises and maintains file documentation for all tests.
Resolves questions from potential test applicants FAU students and others about test registration process as well as monitoring telephone calls to provide information as needed.
Provides information for Test Preparation to customers who call or visit the center
