Job Description Summary
The Janitorial Manager Quality assurance will ensure our services are delivered and operations run smoothly and generate a consistent output that meet quality and efficiency standards. The Janitorial QA manager understands the Operations and the customers needs and possesses the detailed requirements for the account contract and KPIs. This position coordinates communications between management and the cleaning team and will include responsibilities for transitioning or transforming an account.
The Janitorial Manager must have excellent communication and listening skills with strong observational analytical and problemsolving skills. It is a requirement of this position to be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and specifically PowerPoint.
Job Description
Janitorial Manager Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
- Gaining an understanding of the clients needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the operations teams.
- Devising ways to improve the processes to ensure higherquality delivery.
- Devising improving and reviewing new specifications and procedures for processes and training staff to use them.
- Setting the requirements for subcontractors services and monitoring their compliance.
- Provide guidance and training in janitorial processes.
- Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.
- Overseeing service delivery procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
- Inspecting the final output comparing it to the requirements and approving or rejecting the final outcome.
- Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
- Gaining feedback from the clients attending meetings submitting reports and assisting external auditors and inspectors.
- Be willing to step in as the account manager when needed for outages in the operations team covering for PTO or FMLA position vacancies.
- Support the Vice President of Client Services for special projects as necessary.
Quality Control Manager Requirements:
- 5 years experience in management of janitorial cleaning teams.
- Wellversed in QA tools such as Otuvy and Smart Inspect.
- Experience in business administration platforms such as Kronos and JDE.
- Strong attention to detail observation organizational and leadership skills.
- Indepth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Good technical and IT skills.
- Fluent in all Microsoft Office Suite tools with a strong focus on PowerPoint
