Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform ELISAs cell or tissue culturebased assays on live vaccine products process intermediates and related experimental samples
- Analyze and review data
- Prepare solutions and culture media
- Maintain multiple cell lines
- Good trouble shooting ability with cell lines
- Maintain records and test results following good manufacturing practices (GMP)
- Work independently and efficiently
- Document work clearly and perform tests accurately
- Communicate effectively with client staff members
Qualifications :
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
- 12 years related laboratory experience including aseptic and cell culture techniques is a must have
- Automation experience preferred but not required
- Biology Biochemistry or Virology Background
- General laboratory skills and experience with pipettes
- Experience using formulas and linking spreadsheets in Excel
- Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team selfmotivation adaptability and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Biology Biomedical Engineering or related science and 1 Years industry Cell Culture experience in a GMP atmosphere
- Must be willing and able to lift 20 lbs
- Proficient with Excel
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information :
This position is FullTime Monday Friday 8 a.m. 5:00 p.m. with overtime as needed and the potential for some off shift hours as dependent on project. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point PA are encouraged to apply.
