Are you a seasoned Maintenance Engineer seeking to enhance your career
As a qualified Maintenance Engineer you will be an integral part of our team specialising in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. Your journey with us will begin with a comprehensive technical training to familiarise yourself with our unique Printing Equipment. Our operations run 24/7 hence we offer a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Your role will evolve as you progress leading you to champion improvement projects that aim to enhance both productivity and effectiveness of our department. A robust handson approach in mechanical and electrical engineering is paramount. Were in search of a professional whos not only motivated but also enthusiastic about continuous learning.
Leading and managing CI projects will be a core part of your responsibilities with an emphasis on timely and achieving measurable impacts. Youll also champion Kaizen initiatives fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Conducting structured root cause analysis will help you identify and eliminate inefficiencies and your focus on preventative maintenance will play a key role in improving efficiencies through handson involvement.
Qualifications :
Were seeking someone with keen attention to detail who is selfmotivated adaptable and eager to learn and grow. The role will involve shift work including nights and weekends so flexibility is important.
You should be technically adept at repairing and maintaining complex manufacturing machinery. Gaining proficiency in faultfinding on our bespoke equipment will involve collaborating closely with other technicians to understand all facets of Engineering.
Experience: Previous experience as a shiftbased engineer in a manufacturing environment is required. Ideally candidates will have experience as an engineer within a printing or FMCG environment.
Essential Qualification: Must be a certified Maintenance Engineer with substantial handson experience in an FMCG environment.
Educational Background: Completion of an engineering apprenticeship is required along with at least an HNC qualification (Mechanical or Electrical).
Practical Experience: Proven expertise in fault finding within a production setting is necessary
