Job Description

Hospitality Specialist Family Resource Center (FRC)

Families and Youth Innovation Plus is hiring a fulltime and parttime Hospitality Specialist Family Resource Center (FRC)

The Hospitality Specialist provides Family Resource Center (FRC) center support as the primary host front desk attendant customer service agent and administrative support person. As the key greeter of staff participants families and the community this position is responsible for providing a safe warm welcoming and affirming experience at the Family Resource Center. Additionally this role facilitates and coordinates all hospitality services for this division as well as provides other support and functions to include but not limited to watering plants cleaning of the cafe/service area(s) meeting setup etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests field/manage their inquiries and direct them to the appropriate person according to their needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all scheduled and walkin appointments
  • Process correspondence to other agencies staff and clients in accordance with the policies and procedures related to confidentiality.
  • Input verified information pertaining to intake and appointment scheduling into appropriate fields of the computer database and EMRBEAR.
  • Verify information collected from clients and other sources for accuracy and completeness.
  • Receipt and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Perform clerical and administrative support duties as necessary
  • Perform host and event coordination functions
  • Manage division/center calendar and building use requests (reservations)
  • Provides some light cleaning tasks as assigned
  • Assist in the coordination or provision of transportation for division program participants when needed
  • May be required to occasionally travel and/or work division overnight events

Qualifications and Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques
  • High degree of multitasking and time management capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint) Adobe Acrobat and Social Media web platforms.
