Job Description:
We are seeking a Junior Site Engineer to join our team and support the onsite management of our redevelopment projects. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to gain handson experience in construction and site management.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision: Assist in overseeing daily construction activities ensuring compliance with project plans specifications safety standards and quality requirements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities including daily logs progress reports and material inventories.
Coordination: Collaborate with senior engineers contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project and timely issue resolution.
Quality Control: Participate in regular inspections to ensure that construction work meets required standards and specifications.
Health & Safety Compliance: Support the implementation and enforcement of safety protocols on site.
Material Management: Assist in coordinating the procurement delivery and Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to site workers ensuring that construction plans are understood and followed.
Reporting: Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports to senior management identifying any issues or delays.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in construction or civil engineering particularly in site supervision.
- Knowledge of construction processes materials and safety standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and construction management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic construction environment.
- Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) is advantageous.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and other constructionrelated software.
Understanding of local building codes and regulations.
