Ecospace Campus 3A 4th Floor Outer Ring Road Bellandur Bengaluru 560103Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI Platforms Team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects developed by our Data Science teams are productionready. This position requires a deep understanding of machine learning data science and software engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Data Science teams to refine and enhance machine learning models and data science projects at every stage of development.
- Ensure that machine learning models and data science projects are productionready scalable performant and faulttolerant.
- Develop and enforce best practices controls and governance frameworks for machine learning projects.
- Implement robust monitoring and maintenance strategies for deployed models to ensure continuous performance and reliability.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into production environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and data scientists.
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in machine learning and data science technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. PhD is a plus.
- Proven experience in machine learning data science and software engineering.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch scikitlearn).
- Working knowledge of various machine learning algorithms for use cases including but not limited to regression classification forecasting and anomaly detection.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms especially AWS and SageMaker.
- Experience in building and deploying largescale machine learning projects in production.
- Deep internal understanding of machine learning algorithms.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Dataiku platform is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience in deploying Generative AI (GenAI) projects in production is preferred.
