Job Description
Senior Digital Design Engineer FPGA / VHDL Focus (Onsite)
Salary Range: $130000 $170000 (commensurate with experience)
Work Setup: 100 Onsite
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Person (due to export control regulations)
About the Role:
A leading highreliability electronics manufacturer supporting aerospace defense and space programs is seeking a Senior Digital Design Engineer to drive the development of cuttingedge FPGAbased systems. This highly technical and collaborative role isfocused on designing simulating and optimizing VHDLbased digital systems for missioncritical applications.
Youll work on highperformance designs involving network protocols highspeed interfaces and DO254certified hardware contributing across the full lifecycle from requirements to release.
What Youll Be Doing:
Lead the design and development of digital circuits and systems using VHDL
Own the FPGA design flow from architecture and simulation to debugging and optimization
Collaborate across disciplines hardware systems software to integrate designs into complete systems
Conduct thorough verification and validation including test planning and simulation
Maintain detailed documentation for designs processes and methodologies
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and promote best practices
Contribute to continuous improvement in tools methods and design processes
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering
815 years of experience in digital design with handson FPGA/VHDL development
Deep experience with Xilinx Altera or similar FPGA tools
Knowledge of PCIe Ethernet 1G/10G) TSN and systemlevel interface protocols
Familiarity with theDO254 certification process across all SOI stages
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Strong communication and team collaboration capabilities
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Verilog and additional hardware description languages
Understanding of UVM or other modern verification methodologies
Familiarity with embedded software design (C/C)
