Job Description
- Supervise the middle schools educational program and curriculum implementation.
- Hire highly qualified teachers
- Collaborate with curriculum coordinators and special education
- Ensure the integration of culturally responsive and inclusive materials.
- Communicate the schools vision and goals to stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and participatory decisionmaking.
- Implement effective educational policies and procedures.
- Establish and enforce high standards for student conduct.
- Collaborative with the special education department to facilitate comprehensive student support services.
- Supervise and evaluate staff.
- Manages school operations including schedules records and building maintenance.
- Develops and manages annual budget
- Leads the School Advisory Council
- Annually reviews and updates Student Handbook
- A Masters Degree and Massachusetts certification as a middle school principal.
- At least three years of successful secondary teaching experience.
- Previous administrator experience preferred.
- Strong leadership interpersonal communication and management skills.
- Experience in curriculum development evaluation and implementation.
- Knowledge of technology and information management tools.
- Passion for high academic standards and expectations
- Ability to connect with staff students and parents
- Team player at the district level
