In certain instances due to low enrollment faculty payment will be based on parttime per credit pay and prorated on a 10 per student basis.
Parttime employees also receive some benefits depending on the number of hours worked.
Job Description:
Job Duties:
Provide effective and highquality instruction in criminal justice courses.
Maintain compliance with the requirements of the Early College Academy assignment including contract days workday schedule and participating in Early College events such as New Student Orientation Student Registration In Service Days and Parent/Teacher Conferences as specified in the Early College Faculty contract addendum.
Maintain compliance with the provisions of the Colleges parttime faculty position description including teaching to develop implement evaluate and update the purpose philosophy objectives and organizational framework of the program.
Maintain compliance regarding all faculty responsibilities enumerated in the College Policies and Procedures.
Design implement and evaluate curriculum using written plans.
Use alternative delivery technology in lecture and laboratory instruction to enhance student learning.
Embrace and apply the provisions of the institutional Mission Vision and Philosophy.
Apply learningcentered educational practices such as creating and communicating clearly defined outcomes for student learning.
Participate in assessment of student learning outcomes.
Maintain positive cooperative and professional interpersonal relationships with students faculty staff and administration.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate (J.D. Degree with documented courses in aspects of law applications or Masters Degree in Criminal Justice or a related area or any Masters Degree with 18 graduate level credit hours in Criminal Justice or a related area plus 2000 hours of relevant industry experience within the last seven 7 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a community college teaching environment curriculum writing and alternative delivery instruction.
Experience with concurrent enrollment or dual enrollment programs.
