Job Description

- Based at our Aspect Hunter School with some travel required from time to time to our Port Macquarie school
We aim to support and empower individuals on the spectrum and their families to bring about meaningful change based on functional goals. We work in partnership with the individual and their support network to identify strengths areas of need and develop support strategies that build capacity and work with participants interests. We meet participants in their community setting to support building inclusive environments to suit their needs and work on transferrable skills that relate to their everyday lives.
During induction we support registration or continuation of registration with the Quality & Safeguards Commission as a Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner with a very strong individualised support and supervision structure that assists in development of learning & career goals.
Qualifications :
What you bring:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant allied health discipline (Psychology Speech Pathology Occupational Therapy Social Work etc. or Education
- Current drivers licence use of own vehicle for business purposes (reimbursed per km) and willingness to travel across your local community
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
- Working with Children Check for paid employment for the state you reside in
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality Safety and You certificate. If you have not already completed the free module click here to access it.
- You may be required to provide an international police clearance
