Salary circa 55000
Are you an experienced Supplier Manager eager to become part of one of the most engaging and rapidly growing teams in Aviva
This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record in managing supplier relationships drafting and managing contracts and ensuring performance for critical suppliers in a regulated environment preferably within Financial Services. While the focus of the role will be IT direct experience in IT contracts is very advantageous but not mandatory.
Our team is dedicated to delivering value through effective supplier relationships thirdparty risk management and comprehensive oversight. This involves managing contracts (including contract amendments) and overall relationships with suppliers to mitigate risks enhance supplier performance ensure contractual governance and maximise commercial and business value.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to providing excellence in Supplier Management across Aviva.
A bit about the job:
The purpose of the role is to manage suppliers in line with best practices and defined policies and standards as well as supporting colleagues in IT. Youll apply appropriate commercial contractual and supplier relationship management skills tools and techniques to ensure supplier relationships to meet and exceed contractual obligations.
You will drive performance by effectively utilising contractual levers mitigating risks and working collaboratively with IT. You will ensure compliance with contractual obligations while identifying and capitalising on additional opportunities. You will lead negotiations including amending contracts and creating or approving work orders.
You will work closely with IT and procurement colleagues to manage contracts support disputes breaches and exits whilst ensuring both Aviva and the supplier adhere to contract obligations.
Skills and experience were looking for:
Strong experience in Supplier Management for complex and critical agreements with proven experience in contract and commercial management
Stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of building strong internal business and supplier relationships at all levels
Negotiation skills being able to demonstrate experience of supporting leading and managing negotiations including dispute resolution

Starting salary circa 55000 (depending on location skills experience and qualifications)
