The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of learning at FMC by driving the development of innovative learning solutions that enhance the skills and capabilities of our global workforce. This role will be responsible for creating and implementing onboarding programs designing manager training initiatives and optimizing learning technology to drive engagement and business outcomes. The Learning and Development Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and contribute to the continuous improvement of learning strategies across the organization.
Heres What Youll Do
- Program Development & Delivery
- Supports design delivery and evaluation of learning programs (e.g. new manager training leadership development) across various modes including instructorled training elearning and virtual classroom training.
- Develops and manages new hire and manager onboarding programs to equip employees with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful.
- Builds sustainable learning and development programs and processes by balancing simplicity and scalability within a global environment.
- Partners with business leaders and HR business partner teams to understand current and future business needs ensuring that learning programs support the development of desired skills and competencies.
- Manages relationships with external vendors and consultants to support program design and delivery ensuring highquality content and delivery standards.
- Learning Management System and Technology
- Leads the deployment and learner strategy of FMCs learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technology platforms to deliver and track training effectively.
- Implements the learning technology and operations strategy fostering collaboration amongst learning teams across global functions.
- Partners with functional areas to develop and deploy training through the LMS and other channels as appropriate.
- Partners with 3rd party vendor to establish and maintain learning solutions in the LMS.
- Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
- Establishes metrics and evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness of learning programs making datadriven decisions to enhance program impact.
- Maintains operational excellence across our learning programs to optimize efficiency scalability and impact while ensuring strong ROI through participation and learner outcomes.
- Stays abreast of trends research and innovations in learning and development integrating best practices in learning and development programs.
Required Education
- Bachelors degree required.
Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive global experience in learning and development.
- Strong understanding and experience in designing building and implementing scalable learning solutions across wide range of modalities.
- Proven experience in developing and executing leadership development programs
- Strong consulting skills (e.g. written and verbal communication influencing facilitation and stakeholder management skills).
- Practical knowledge of learning operations including portfolio vendor management learning technologies and learning evaluation.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with learning technology platforms (preferably Workday Learn).
