POSITION: Senior Electrical Estimator LOCATION: Sioux Falls South Dakota
COMPANY OVERVIEW: Join a leading electrical contractor in the growing Sioux Falls market. Our client has established themselves as an innovative leader in designbuild electrical contracting specializing in commercial and multifamily projects.
POSITION SUMMARY: Were seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their preconstruction team. This role offers an 80/20 split between estimating and project management responsibilities focusing on designbuild projects using Conest software.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead designbuild electrical estimating efforts Perform detailed takeoffs using Conest software Develop value engineering solutions Review plans and specifications Coordinate with project teams and clients Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers Participate in project handoff meetings Support project management initiatives 20 Mentor junior team members Collaborate with design teams
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3 years electrical estimating experience Proficiency in Conest software Strong designbuild project background Commercial and multifamily project experience Excellence in reading and interpreting plans Strong industry relationships Value engineering expertise Effective communication abilities Detailoriented with analytical skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in the Sioux Falls market Designbuild project leadership Knowledge of current industry trends Experience with sustainable/green building
