What Youll Be Doing
Youll be part of a tight-knit estimating and project leadership team working on major industrial electrical contracts. This includes hands-on bid preparation cost analysis and full-cycle project management duties.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze bid specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimates

Develop accurate cost estimates for labor materials equipment and subcontracted services
-
Lead pre-bid meetings negotiate with vendors and collaborate with field supervisors to align execution plans
-
Track project budgets from award through closeout identifying variances and providing cost-control recommendations
-
Maintain strong relationships with contractors suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
-
Ensure compliance with OSHA building codes and client-specific regulations
-
Assist in developing standard cost estimating tools and processes for consistency across teams
-
Provide leadership in risk management scheduling and quality assurance
What Were Looking For
Required:
-
3 years of experience in electrical construction estimating and/or project management
-
Proven ability to manage industrial projects of $5M
-
Familiarity with electrical blueprints scope specs and cost codes
-
Proficient with estimating software Accubid is highly preferred
-
Experience using project management tools and MS Office Suite
-
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel up to 10%
Preferred:
-
Degree in Construction Management Engineering or related trade certification
-
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Knowledge of scheduling software and industrial safety standards
Work Schedule:
-
Monday through Friday
-
Standard 8-hour shifts
-
Minimal travel (less than 10%) for site visits and vendor coordination
