Essential Responsibilities
- Lead aerodynamic design testing and analysis of fan and compressor configurations.
- Drive multidisciplinary integration with system level understanding.
- Provide technical guidance and training/mentoring of junior engineers.
- Manage resources and prioritize activities to deliver program objectives.
- Influence and help define strategies for research and development for nextgen engines.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Masters degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with significant industrial experience in in the field of fan and compressor aerodynamics.
- Strong understanding of fan and compressor aerodynamics and design.
- Experience in computational fluid dynamics aerodynamic design and a track record in delivering innovative solutions on complex programs.
- Fluent in English.
Desired Characteristics
- PhD in aerodynamics.
- Passion for technical excellence and selfmotivation.
- Proficiency in German.
