Job Description
Scope:
The Contractor shall provide Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant services at the Wellpinit Indian Health Center in Washington. The DCWMC primarily serves the ambulatory needs of the Spokane Tribe. Services include medical and dental and inhouse Pharmacy for patients. DCMWC offers a number of specialty clinics including Podiatry Womens Health Diabetes Care and expanding to others in the future.

Expected Schedule:
Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m usually no more than 40 hr./ week
13week commitment desired 3 months or more preferred.
Requirements:
Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants.
Possess a current unrestricted Washington State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License.
Maintain updated continuing education certificates.
Current BLS/ACLS/PALS/DEA
Preferred 2 years of experience we can discuss on a casebycase basis 1 year acceptable.
Expected Duties:
Advanced Practitioner support to be provided shall include but are not limited to the following:
Interview and examine patients review past medical history and request and/or perform diagnostic tests and examinations as necessary to make diagnosis for primary care services.
Counsel and educate patients families community and medical staff about health care.
Prescribe and tests necessary to provide quality health care including the use of radiology and laboratory services.
Become familiar with and be guided by the facilitys formulary and shall follow standard procedures when prescribing .
Participate in a continual process of quality of health care evaluation to ensure the provision of quality services.
Strive for excellence in providing general family medicine medical services.
Comply with all the facilitys infection control and safety procedures practices and standards.
Respect and maintain the basic rights of patients to include but not limited to personal dignity.
Compensation:
Base Rate $110.00120.00 per hour based on experience and length of commitment.
$3000 relocation bonus for 3 months or more commitments.
1M/3M malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
Housing travel meals not included at this hourly rate.
