EXTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE (FLUID CONTROL & PIPING INDUSTRY)

BLOEMFONTEIN FREE STATE PROVINCE

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Matric
  • Minimum 3 4 years strong current and relevant Sales experience required
  • Experience required within theFluid control & Pipingindustry(ESSENTIAL)
  • Sound knowledge of Bloemfontein and surrounding areas will be servicing the Free State region client base
  • Proficient onSyspro (ADVANTAGEOUS)
  • Must be passionate about sales a gogetter & proactive
  • Must be targetdriven regarding turnover and gross profit
  • Understanding of sales process and dynamics
  • A commitment to excellent customer service
  • Able to work comfortably in a fastpaced environment
  • Valid drivers licence (no endorsements) (Essential)
  • Must reside in Bloemfontein or surrounding areas and must not have a problem to travel

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Measurement:

  • Achievement of sales and GP budgets
  • Overall growth across all product ranges
  • New accounts opened and sales generated
  • Revival of dormant accounts

Principal Accountabilities: Sales

DUTIES

  • Generating leads
  • Identify and establish contact with potential customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
  • Maintaining client records
  • Assisting customers with queries related to products pricing and availability
  • Servicing of new and existing customers
  • Completing of call reports
  • Assisting customers with technical advice and queries
  • Opening up of new sustainable accounts
  • Achieving monthly target
  • Establishing developing and maintaining good customer relationships
  • Identify new opportunities for potential sales
  • Accurately report on market trends pricing and projects
  • Expedite sales orders
  • Work closely with Internal Sales staff to ensure best possible service to customers
  • Check stock do quotes and process sales orders on Syspro
  • Assisting the Counter Sales staff when required
  • Sort out account queries and follow up on outstanding payments
