ManpowerGroup Greece on behalf of its client a Fortune 500 firm leader at its domain is looking for an experiencedFull Stack Developer (Java React) to join their product development team.

Our client has a Tech Hub in Athens with more than 80 employees and the Hub provides IT Services across all corporate functions of the organization in Europe & the USA.

Location: Athens North sector (walking distance to metro station)

Working Model: Hybrid working model 3 days office 2 remote)

You will be reporting to the Engineer Manager

What you will do:

As a Full Stack Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining highquality web applications using Java for backend and React for frontend. Working with both serverside and clientside technologies youll contribute to a monolithic Java 17 architecture utilize SQL Server for database management and follow modern CI/CD practices through GitLab. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions that support digital transformation on a global scale.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing developing and maintaining scalable highperformance web applications focused on user experience and responsiveness
• Applying web development best practices to ensure robust maintainable and secure applications
• Developing and optimizing backend architecture using Java
• Building responsive and interactive frontends using React and integrating seamlessly with backend services
• Writing clean testable and efficient code following software engineering best practices
• Troubleshooting debugging and resolving performance bottlenecks to enhance application stability
• Implementing RESTful APIs and integrating thirdparty services as needed
• Managing databases and ensuring smooth data exchange between server and clients
• Staying current with industry trends and best practices in Java and React development
• Collaborating with developers and designers to ensure technical solutions meet performance and functional requirements
• Contributing to the testing lifecycle and maintaining high standards of code quality
• Ensuring seamless product integration with internal systems and external applications

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering
• A minimum of 8 years of handson experience in professional web development
• Advanced proficiency in Java with a solid grasp of the Java ecosystem and related frameworks
• Strong understanding and practical application of ObjectOriented Programming (OOP) principles patterns and best practices
• Extensive experience with including proficiency in modern state management solutions such as Redux or the Context API
• Expertise in frontend technologies including HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript as well as familiarity with modern frontend build tools and workflows
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs including both consumption and development of web services
• Proficient in working with relational database systems (e.g. SQL) with practical experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance
• Solid understanding of version control using Git and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Deep knowledge of web development best practices including performance optimization scalability and security
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative development processes is considered a plus
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for delivering highquality software solutions that provide tangible value to users
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a structured approach to troubleshooting and debugging
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within crossfunctional teams comprising developers business analysts and stakeholders
