Job Description
The goal of VCA NWVS has been to provide exceptional patient care while creating a supportive work environment for its doctors and staff. What started off as a small specialty center has grown into a large campus with three buildings housing multiple specialties including our own Diagnostic Imaging Department. The people and resources of VCA NWVS are able to provide pets and clients with the most comprehensive veterinary care in the PortlandVancouver metro region.

At VCA NWVS the sense of teamwork and the culture of working together is no less important than the level of medical and surgical care that patients receive. Another component of community involvement is the hospitals blood bank. It was established in 2006 to provide the highest quality blood products to meet the needs of the Portland pet population. Since then volunteers have donated over 400 units of blood worked exclusively with theOregon Zoo(including cross matching and transfusing elephants & orangutans) and has wonSpot MagazinesTop Dog award for the past 5 years. These accolades are wellearned and the successful candidate will also want to contribute to the betterment of the community as well.
