The Executive Airside Operations (Survey) is responsible for surveying all the structure/ buildings/ masts in the vicinity of aerodrome up to 20 km from ARP on regular or adhoc basis as per regulations of GSR 751(E). He/she shall be responsible for monitoring the obstacle lights for serviceability as per regulatory requirement. He/she shall be familiar with the use of survey equipment such as DGPS Total station etc. He/she shall be able to actively perform Airside Ops duties as required. He/ she shall contribute to effective implementation of the Airport operational concept in the airside. Proficiency in AUTOCAD and airport planning/ designing software will carry additional weightage in order to manage processes/ resources on the Airside in a proactive manner. A sound knowledge of computer applications is desirable with working knowledge on MS Office and related software.

B. Tech B.E or diploma in Civil Engineering of three years with relevant exposure to Survey works preferably Obstacle survey. Prior experience in airport surveys is desirable.

5.3. Computer skills(Indicate the required knowledge on software applications hardware etc. that are required)
5.3.1. AutoCAD Proficient in MS Office GIS.
5.3.2. Airport planning/designing & Database management (desirable).
5.4. Knowledge and work skillsIndicate what knowledge (machines equipment processes systems etc. and work skills are required
5.4.1. Proficiency in Obstacle surveying process data management and reporting.
5.4.2. Exposure to Aerodrome Design & Operations (Annex 14 GSR 751 (E) DGCA CAR Section 4 series B part I) ADSAC preferred
