TheLecturer in Business is responsible for delivering innovative highquality instruction in business disciplines such as management marketing finance entrepreneurship or business analytics. The Lecturer will play a critical role in developing industryrelevant curriculum preparing students for leadership roles in a global business environment and contributing to the strategic goals of the School of Business. This executivelevel academic appointment emphasizes teaching excellence professional engagement and thought leadership in business education.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and applicationbased instruction in core and elective business courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Develop and revise syllabi assessments and instructional materials to reflect current industry trends and business practices.
- Integrate experiential learning case studies simulations and technology tools into coursework.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure alignment of business curriculum with accreditation standards.
- Leverage professional networks to bring realworld insights guest speakers and internship opportunities to students.
- Mentor students in career planning entrepreneurship and business leadership.
- Support student organizations business competitions and special projects that promote leadership and innovation.
- Serve on academic committees and participate in School of Business strategic planning initiatives.
- Participate in faculty development opportunities and represent the department at university and community events.
Education
- Masters degree in Business Administration or related field required; Doctorate (DBA or Ph.D. in Business or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional or academic experience in business or management.
- Must able to lift 10 pounds.
