The Multimedia Journalist produces reports shoots writes voices edits and feeds news production content for all platforms in a manner that is clear engaging and meaningful to news consumers.
ABC50 is DOWNTOWN LIVING LOCAL and HIRING!
ABC50 & NewsChannel 9 have an immediate opening for a Multimedia Journalist to cover the North Country. The Northern New York Reporter will produce report write voice edit and feed news production content for all platforms including WWTIs simulcast of WSYR news. The NNY Reporter will seek content that is clear engaging and meaningful to news consumers in both the Watertown and Syracuse DMAs. The position will be based at WWTIABC50 in Watertown.
Experience:
A minimum of two years experience in news reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism (or related field) required. Fluency in English with ability toad libwhen required and excellent written and oral communication onair presence. Ability to meet deadlines prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Valid drivers license with a good driving record. Flexibility to work any shift.
COMPENSATION: $16.00 $17.50/HOUR
