Join Our Team as an Office Coordinator at Food52!

As our Office Coordinator youll be the first face people see when they enter our Brooklyn Navy Yard office.. Youll be the heartbeat of our headquarters ensuring everything runs like clockwork and that the team has everything they need to do their best work. What Youll Do:

  • Create a welcoming environment: Make sure the office is organized tidy and ready for guests and team members at all times. From managing the kitchen supplies to keeping the printer area in check youll ensure everything is in its place.
  • Be the face of Food52: Greet visitors with a smile offer refreshments and give them a tour of our space. Youre the first impression and we want it to be a great one!
  • Keep things running smoothly: From arranging office repairs to handling work orders youll make sure the office (and test kitchen! stay in tiptop shape. Youll also manage the office event calendar and collaborate with team members to set up and break down internal events.
  • Support the team: Help the crew with office supplies keep track of IT needs and make sure everyone has what they need to thrive. Whether its setting up technology or running errands youre the goto person.
  • Manage the details: Youll keep track of the office budget handle vendor negotiations and make sure everything is invoiced and paid on time. Your attention to detail will keep things running seamlessly!

  • Great Communicator: You know how to keep people in the loop and are always proactive in your communication. Youll work with a variety of people from investors to event vendors and make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Adaptable & Flexible: Things change fast and youre ready to adapt to the needs of a dynamic and growing company. You roll with the punches and always stay positive.
  • Dependable: Youre someone who people can rely on. You take ownership of your responsibilities and follow through with care.

What Youll Need:

  • 1 year of experience managing an office store or restaurant (with 20 employees)
  • Proficiency in Google Workplace Slack Microsoft Office
  • Techsavvy with experience using copiers scanners Macs and PCs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay on top of competing demands
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently

COMPENSATION

This is an exempt role.

The target pay range for this role is between 60k 75k.

This role is eligible for a bonus.
