The primary purpose of this position is to manufacture RxD dispersions at the COUS site.
The Production Operator must be responsible to perform all manufacturing activities within all EHS quality and corporate guidelines on a rightfirsttime basis. The operator is independently responsible for manufacturing activities and priorities following all appropriate training programs complying with all documentation within the department (i.e. SOPs process logs) and effectively communicating with other operators as well as supervision and other departments. In addition the Production Operator will perform routine manufacturing cleanouts and equipment changeovers monitor in process and post batch data and operate the process control systems to effectively run the plant. A strong understanding of the process chemistry and equipment including potential problem analysis is critical to ensuring high quality dispersion is produced in a safe and cost effective manner.
The Production Operator accomplishes these goals while striving to maintain an atmosphere of involvement continuous improvement EHS and rightfirsttime manufacture within the operations team. This position reports to the Work Station Manager for RxD.
The Production Operators will work rotating shifts to support 24/7 manufacturing. In addition to the listed responsibilities the position may be required to perform other duties upon request from management.
