The James C. Morriss Division of Engineering at Texas A&M UniversityTexarkana (TAMUT) invites applications for a nontenuretrack Lecturer position in Computer Engineering beginning Fall 2025. This is a temporary 10month oncampus appointment. The position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the foundational growth of the Computer Engineering program at TAMUT.
The successful candidate will primarily focus on teaching undergraduate Computer/Electrical Engineering courses developing and delivering highquality instruction and supporting student learning and academic success. Additional responsibilities may include student advising curriculum enhancement participation in recruitment and outreach activities and support for teaching laboratory development.
A Masters degree in Computer Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is required; a Ph.D. is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and a collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary academic programs.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing engineering program and to help prepare the next generation of Computer Engineers. Candidates with experience in curriculum development innovative teaching practices or industry collaboration are strongly encouraged to apply.
