DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Security expert to lead our Physical security Center of Excellence in our Corporate Security department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of physical security risk assessments developing and implementing security policies and standards managing personnel screening requirements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role also involves maintaining contact with government agencies and threat intelligence agencies worldwide as well as creating comprehensive threat assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Create physical security requirements and check the implementation of these for Datacenters & office buildings and new projects.
- Develop implement and maintain security policies standards and procedures to ensure the protection of company assets.
- Oversee personnel screening requirements to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Provide evidence and documentation for regulatory audits and inspections and ensure action plans are put in place to mitigate the findings.
- Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies and threat intelligence agencies globally.
- Create and present detailed threat assessments to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze security trends and threats to proactively address potential risks.
- Lead and create escalation and crisis procedures for security operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into business processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Security Management Criminal Justice or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate security management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of physical security risk assessments security policies and standards.
- Experience in personnel screening and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with government and threat intelligence agencies.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Security Management or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional).
- Experience in international security operations.
