Our team is looking for a new Data Protection Adviser to join our busy team of data professionals making sure that we do the right thing by our customers colleagues and other stakeholders when dealing with personal information.
Youll play a key role in ensuring Abri meets all relevant data protection regulations. Youll make sure that the confidentiality and integrity of our stakeholder data remains at the heart of everything we do its our priority that we maintain the highest standards striving not only to be compliant with the law but to meet our customers expectations that weprotect their data as if it were our own.
Every day presents an opportunity to help customers get the data protection they deserve and are entitled to so enthusiasm a cando attitude and a genuine passion for going the extra mile will be essential.
Were looking for someone who is a great communicator who can explain data regulations in a simple friendly way and has a keen eye for detail. Experienced in a similar role or with a strong background in data protection or assurance (e.g. GDPR compliance) is beneficial. But most of all we hope youllshare our high standards and passion for excellence.
We think a mix of remote and officebased working works well in this role but if you dont live in commuting distance from one of our principal offices (which are in Bracknell Eastleigh and Yeovil) our expectation is that youll work from an Abri office a minimum of three days per week to connect and collaborate with colleagues and the other two days can be worked from at a place of your choosing whether thats at another of our offices a cafe or at home. Of course this will be subject to business need and more frequent visits may be required on occasions. Travel from your home to our nearest office will be at your own expense.
