Team members are creative and passionate about enriching peoples lives. Encourage and value independence by providing opportunities while supporting advocacy for individual preferences for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Dedicated adaptable and knowledgeable in leadership in residential and community settings. This position is responsible for ensuring staffing coverage supervision of employees and staff training compliance.
Essential job functions include:
Hire train supervise evaluate and address concerns with team members as they arise while upholding professional and supportive communication. Must be reliable trustworthy and a selfstarter. Ensure personcentered activities that provide opportunities to fulfill their dreams wishes and interests. Promote community integration and social activities. Respect the basic needs of people supported to assist with cultivating relationships. Assist with finances home and vehicle maintenance safety and oversight of community and residential settings. Oversee that documentation and charting is completed and organized. Model and teach intervention techniques developed and recommended by the behavioral health team. Effectively communicates with families guardians and team members to ensure quality service delivery. Proven ability to demonstrate tact good judgment and initiative in interactions. Exhibits professional demeanor in language dress and behavior. Provide oncall support as required.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years leadership experience supporting people with IDD in their homes and surrounding community.
- 2 to 3 years experience as a Direct Support Professional.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must possess a valid drivers license with a good driving background.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy required.
Schedule: Full Time
Location: Openings in Cranston Johnston Warwick
Pay Rate:
- Manager $25.00
- Assistant Manager $23.00
- Weekend Differential $1.00/hourly
