Adolescent medicine works collaboratively with other pediatric specialties including pediatric gynecology child psychiatry as well as support services such as nutrition and social Information:Mainly outpatient focused with some inpatient roundingHeavy eating disorders volumeMinimal call volumeOpportunity to participate in lectures grand rounds research and quality improvement projects Will work closely with pediatric residents and serve as core residency facultyOpportunity to earn a clinical faculty appointment with Baylor College of MedicineAbout McLane Childrens Medical Center:Our fivestory McLane Childrens Specialty Clinic is located next to our freestanding Childrens Hospital in Temple Texas. The hospital features include 112 patient beds 48 private medical/surgical rooms 16 private Pediatric ICU rooms and a 24hour level II pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center equipped to deal with the most serious pediatric trauma cases. A level IV 48 bed Neonatal ICU is located nearby on the main BSWMC Temple campus.
