Job Description

Waterville Elementary School is seeking a dynamic multiage teacher to work in with our primary grade team. The successful candidate should possess the knowledge and skills necessary to plan instruct and assess curriculum for elementary school students. The ideal candidate must commit to creating a welcoming inclusive affirming and fun learning ideal candidate also will be adept in:*ARC reading programs Bridges Math MAPS Fastbridge and Phonics to Reading is preferredUnderstanding of equitable classroom practices including restorative models PBIS Responsive Classroom culturally responsive pedagogy have a growth mindset and an understanding of antibias / antiracist on a multigrade teamInstituting effective classroom management strategiesIncorporating knowledge of child development and SocialEmotional Learning when developing a classroom team and learning communityDifferentiating instruction for all learners in an inclusive learning environmentStrong skills in implementing a balanced literacy program Experience with formative assessments and datadriven instructionActively communicating with students and their familiesDemonstrating adaptability and flexibility with practices necessary to thrive in a dynamic public school settingLNSU provides a generous compensation and benefit package.
